Earlier this week, NASA and Apple tapped a bunch of artists to record songs for NASA’s Juno mission. They sent a 66-foot long unmanned spacecraft, properly called “Juno,” 484 million miles from Earth to Jupiter. Jupiter is the largest planet in our solar system and this Monday, July 4th, 2016, it will reach the most critical point in its journey since its launch in 2011.
One of the artist GZA from Wu-Tang Clan, comes with “The Spark,” which goes great with this mission. This cool as outer galactic beat is produced by Paul Ryder of Happy Mondays. The GZA has an album coming
More tracks for NASA include, “Juno” from Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross and “I Love The USA” from Weezer, & My Morning Jacket’s Jim James with Lydia Burrell-assisted “Everything (The Universe).” Brad Paisley, Corinne Bailey Rae, QUIÑ, and Zoé also have songs for the project on the way if not recorded by now.
Here is one track of several NASA inspired music.
